Banana play

See, how there’s inspiration around us everywhere! I just l o v e these pictures and the way they have come to be. Marta Grossi is a Hong Kong based artist who picks a banana every night, to draw on, and eats it for breakfast the next day. Knowing that, I feel I will look at a banana differently tomorrow…
BANANA GRAFFITI

This was brought to my attention through the daily newsletter of Trendland, headlined “Banana graffiti”. And if you have ever drawn on a banana with a ballpoint pen yourself, you would instantly understand how smooth a promise that is. So I clicked.

LOL! {and I never use that phrase}

Grossi shows yellow to be a perfect canvas for fun and glory.

Grossi explains in these words;
Every banana has a simple and unique canvas,
and every banana is different.
This is an open experiment based
on a very cheap and ordinary support.
I customize my banana during the night.
I have my banana for breakfast the day after.
This is a temporary space and love to prove
that inspiration is everywhere.
