My first ciabatta

On the weekend we tend to have an easy meal, a soup with a nice piece of bread for example. Since a few weeks I have been baking the bread myself, started of with a dark farmer’s bread, the first one looking like a black stone… After three tries I got it right and know my oven temperature better. And call me simple, but one of the best pleasures in life, I find, is freshly baked bread, and I now master the magic!

Today this. My first ciabatta, fresh from the oven, 50 cents + a bit of electricity. Yummy with just a lick of salted butter, delicious with marmalade or lemon curd. 😛
