Our Pollock

drip painting

Pollock, Jackson Pollock?

When I was asked the other day, if there is something I would like to have from my stepfather’s household, as he is moving into a smaller, more comfortable appartement, I couldn’t think of anything. But today, after another day of sorting out photographs I came across this close-up of his stepladder, hanging in the garage, and it made me think…

I would love to have the stepladder. I would take it apart and hang this upper step as if it were a proper painting! {Casually: “Oh, the Pollock’s been in the family for quite some time.” ;-)}
