Serendipity and facts

Earth orbits the Sun at an average speed of 67,000 mph, or 18.5 miles a second.

An image from the archives. Made me think. The earth moves incredibly fast – the earth is moving about our sun in a very nearly circular orbit, covering this route at a speed of nearly 30 kilometers per second and we don’t notice, we’re used to the forces it releases.
