A Dot | Drawing Class Inspired By Soundscape

Soundscape by Suzanne Uittenbogaard. To inspire children in her class to draw on a large piece of white paper with a dot stamped on it right in the centre of it.

We both did the course – to become an art teacher for children – and I got to hand her the diploma.

We have been friends forever and I wrote a little speech for the ceremony.

Today we will say goodbye to Suzanne. You will miss her.
She put you on the trail of Stipje,
an unremarkable single cell,
that can easily be overlooked,
but through the power of imagination
can encompass an entire universe.

One more time we will listen to the soundscape
of the wondrous world of Stipje
made by Su.

To inspire the children in her class
with a dot
and a large sheet
to draw on.

Well done, it’s a gem.

Take it with you,

thank you.

Suzanne,
congratulations,

dot.

I attended one of her classes, and took some shots.
