Apropos Of Nothing | Portrait Of Woody Allen

Woody Allen by wilson tichelaar after a photograph by Diane Keaton

Being a huge fan of Woody Allen’s work I could not ignore the book that’s out now: Apropos Of Nothing, his autobiography.

It is on my shelf, in the corner of my eye, at the ready. Much has been said about it, about the book and the story of his life, but I haven’t read it yet, so I am sticking to my fan art for now 😉

You may know, I am trying to paint now that I have more time, staying in.

The black and white picture in the announcement of his book on the back of the newspaper caught my eye. Funny proportions: Allen looks the size of a child in the odd size chair. And I love a good ear chair, so yes, I tried a new painting.
